01 — Chartered Accountancy
CA Articleship Trainee at KKC & Associates LLP — statutory audit of banks and NBFCs.
02 — Developer / SMXTREME
Node.js developer building full-stack web apps and tools in the gaps between audit fieldwork.
The CA Side
Cleared CA Intermediate (both groups) and now deep in articleship at KKC & Associates LLP — doing statutory audit of some of India's largest financial services entities, including the third largest private sector bank.
Strong foundation in accounting, taxation, costing and financial management. Building expertise in Ind AS, RBI Master Directions, SA framework, and audit documentation that needs to hold up under NFRA scrutiny.
The CA course taught a way of thinking — systematic, evidence-based, and unforgiving of gaps. That mindset bleeds into everything else.
The Dev Side
The handle is SMXTREME. The stack is Node.js, Express, EJS, MongoDB, Redis — built and shipped in whatever time the articleship leaves over.
Started with a Snake game in vanilla JS. Now building anime streaming platforms, Discord RPG bots, expense trackers, and audit automation tools. Every project is a problem first, a tech stack second.
Coding isn't a career pivot — it's the other half of the brain that CA doesn't use. The analytical side of finance and the systematic side of programming share more DNA than you'd think.
Statutory audit engagements across banking and financial services entities. Currently on the audit of the third largest private sector bank in India — working on journal voucher testing, NPA classification analysis, and audit documentation under SA 200–720.

CA × Code
Coding skills applied directly inside audit fieldwork — not side projects, actual work that ships inside the firm.
One of the more tedious audit procedures in a bank engagement is interest recomputation — manually verifying that interest charged on loan accounts matches what the system should have computed. Collaborated with a colleague to build an automation tool that ingests account-level data and recomputes interest figures programmatically, cutting what was hours of manual spreadsheet work down to a fraction of that. The output feeds directly into the working paper, audit-trail intact.
Proficient in Power BI for data visualisation and reporting — useful context to have when audit work involves large data populations and you want something cleaner than a pivot table.
Most CA students treat audit as a manual, checkbox-driven process. The coding background means seeing the automation opportunity in every repetitive procedure — and actually being able to build it. That's the edge.
